But here’s a little secret for starters: try harpooning them. This is a smart move to unlock at least two-star meat and make progress in the game.
How To Catch An Eel?
Your chance to catch an eel will come during the awesome “A Noisy Customer” mission in Chapter Two. If you’re using every tool in the book (harpoons, weapons, nets) to snag those wily eels as they pop out of their hiding holes during the daytime, then save your energy for later. These clever fishes are night owls. Yep, they love the darkness and freely swim around when the sun goes down.
But here is the catch, or should we say, the bite: those eels won’t give up without a fight! They’ll try to nibble at you, so you have to be ready to take them down. Pro tip: give them a little whack with your weapon to weaken them before trying to harpoon. But be careful not to go overboard and accidentally kill it.
How To Catch A Horned Parrotfish?
You’ll only find them when you have a mission to capture them in FishMon. To track down these elusive beauties, you have to unlock the FishMon app first. How? Easy peasy! Just reach Chapter Six in Dave The Diver and snap loads of pictures for Udo. The Horned Parrotfish loves hanging out near a shipwreck. But hold on, it is not the yellow one you were asked to explore. Nope, this fish likes to keep you on your toes. So, dive in during the Morning or Afternoon, and swim all the way to the right.
Once you reach around 26 meters deep, keep your eyes peeled for a white shipwreck. And here’s the exciting part – your trusty device from Udo will start beeping, letting you know you are in the right spot. This clever Parrotfish knows how to defend itself! Its crown of horns makes it invincible from the front. Every few seconds, it’ll dash right at you. But fear not! Dodge its dash by moving up or down, and then attack from behind. Once you’ve lulled the fish to sleep (you can do it in different ways), swim up close and press the button on your screen to add it to your collection.
